Facelift for Wexham Park

Wexham Park reveals a new entrance lobby

Facelift for Wexham Park
New Conveniences Opened at Wexham Park Hospital

Wexham Park Hospital, based on the outskirts of Slough, is about 20 minutes from Chalfont. It’s the hospital our loved ones are taken to in an emergency, and in many cases for scheduled out-patient appointments.

Members might be interested to learn that its entrance area has undergone a radical transformation this year. A chaiiwala Indian streetfood café looks as if it’s about to open, and a little further in there is a Co-op, and a Costa coffee, all of which have extended opening hours.

Hospital visits tend to be stressful for us all, but at least these openings will provide some little extra comforts and convenience.

And whilst speaking about Wexham Park, do remember to contact Davina Obeng, the learning disability nurse, so that she knows your loved one is there.

In our experience she makes things happen and help ensure reasonable adjustments are made.

She can be contacted by calling 07826 530591, or by emailing her at Davina.obeng1@nhs.net. We have her contact details in our phones, just in case.
