Saturday Pump Room Cafe success
An update on the Pump Room cafe, and the plan for the next two months

FFES Pump Room Cafe lightens up Saturday afternoons
We’re now four weeks into our Saturday Pump Room café programme in the Recreation Hall, and it is proving to be a great success. Between 50 and75 people have attended each session, proving that there is demand for activities on a Saturday afternoon.
Each café session has been led by different groups of FFES members, and we’ve had support from the local community in the form of two volunteers, to whom we are all massively grateful for their time, energy and commitment.

We take a break this coming weekend (31st October)as Mickaela, Epilepsy Society’s new activities lead, is organising a Halloween party in the Rec Hall. This is a great initiative, and a few of us will be in the Pump Room café from 6pm to provide her with some support.
The following weekend (7th November) will be a busy day on site, as we have our parents meeting with Szymon and Gemma, whilst the long running cycle jumble sale will be taking place in and around the Rec Hall. We will then open the Pump Room café once the cycle jumble sale has finished, so at around 2.30pm. So do feel free to stay around after the meeting and join us in the Rec Hall for a cuppa and a slice of cake.
As we move into November and December we will be hosting various musicians at the Saturday Pump Room café, in addition to Sunday Sounds on Sunday 15th November and Sunday 13th December.
And Christmas officially begins on Saturday 5thDecember when the Songbirds (the Abba Girlz in disguise) bring their Festive Fever show to the Saturday Pump Room café.
